What's the issue on hand?

Is Statrys a bank?

Statrys is not a bank, we are a financial institution holding a Money Service Operator licence in Hong Kong (19-02-02726) and Small Payment Institution in the United Kingdom (12031334). We are regulated by the Hong Kong Customs & Excise and UK Financial Conduct Authority.

Where are my funds?

Client funds are with our partner bank, one of the largest ones in South-East Asia holding a banking licence. International regulations only allow financial institutions holding such licence (i.e. traditional banks) to take deposit.
Statrys platform is the client interface for all business finance operations (e.g. payments, money transfers, notifications, statements, etc.).
If you need any assistance with your Statrys account, please contact us.

How does Statrys make money?

Like most players in the banking industry, we charge monthly fee, transactional fees, and foreign exchange fees.

Is my money safe?

We wouldn’t be in business if clients’ money is not safe with us. Your funds are held in a custodian bank fully licensed in Hong Kong. To keep client funds always safe, client accounts are strictly segregated from our own corporate accounts at all times.

What is the difference between opening a bank account with a traditional bank and Statrys?

First, our account opening application is 100% digital. No paperwork, branch queues and weeks waiting!
Second, you are in full control of your business finances from a single platform. Make payments, add beneficiaries, view balances, add and manage users online wherever you are!
